Crossing Press Australia began publishing Australia's Multicultural History in 1992 - tracing the stories of crossing oceans, continents and cultures. We also service the cross-cultural intellectual disciplines that study Australia's minorities.

Peter Moore, Managing Editor and Crossing Press's founder, has a Law Degree from the University of Adelaide and the postgraduate diploma in Archives Administration from the University of New South Wales. His own work, since postgraduate studies at University College Dublin in Ireland, is towards the biography of political economist, Robert Torrens (1780-1864). Since 1994, he has taught Irish History at adult education centres in Sydney, Melbourne and Adelaide. His current project is in Australian legal history, a history ofhte South Australian legal profession from 1837 to 1945.
